Gum Disease
What is gum disease? Periodontal disease or periodontitis – gum disease is a chronic infection of the gums, leading to the destruction of tissues and periosteum, which fix the tooth in a particular position. Lack of proper treatment leads to deterioration of the gums and tooth loss. Three of every four who have reached 35 years of developing periodontal disease of varying severity.
